Introduction:
This woman in front of you, is going to be your wife.
You have the power to bring her great joy.
Not by providing material things like wealth or riches,
but through the practice of virtues of character
that won her heart in the first place.

She is going to look to you for comfort,
and for security and for leadership.
And so it is your calling as a husband to love her exceedingly well.
To inspire her towards greater and greater faith in the God
who is your mutual comfort, security and leadership.
Do you promise to love this way, forsaking all others
and if you do, would you respond by saying I do. (I)

I shall love my bride
as Christ first loved his!
for all my days (all my days)

Therefore a man shall leave father and mother.
Hold fast to his wife, they will become one. (II)
husbands, this means to love your wife.
As Christ loved the church. He gave his life for her (III)

Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate (IV)

The greatest gift I can offer her,
my devotion to the father.
I obey the son, trust in his teaching.
I let the Spirit guide me, how best to lead my family.
Three in one the trinity, the only way to eternity.

Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate
Be kind to one another, forgive as Christ forgave. (V)

Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast.
It is not proud.
love does not dishonor others, it's not self-seeking.
love is not easily angered and keeps no record of wrongs. (VI)

how long I prayed we would become one.
To be bound together, our time has come.

Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate
Be kind to one another, forgive as Christ forgave.

It doesnt matter when or where we are.
I promise you, you have my heart.
